Jana Meyer
I grew up in Germany where I started riding Icelandic Horses at age 5 and quickly fell in love with them. I knew early on that I wanted this passion to become my profession, so I spent a lot of time taking clinics and lessons, doing internships and working towards my IPVZ trainer licenses.
I am still just as passionate about these wonderful horses, and I very much enjoy sharing my love and knowledge.
It is my goal as a trainer and instructor to bring riders and their horses closer together and to help them with their communication and understanding for each other.
Certifications
IPVZ Trainer C, IPVZ Trainer B, USIHC Sport Judge Level B, Certified Equine Massage Therapist, Centered Riding Instructor
Alex Pregitzer
I am a German Certified Icelandic Horse Trainer (IPZV Trainer C - IPZV is the German Icelandic Horse Congress) and a USIHC national sport judge B. I have over 30 years of experience with different horse breeds and riding styles.
Over the past 15 years since my husband Andreas and I moved to the US, I have traveled to Germany and Iceland for internships, lessons and seminars and have worked with many master trainers to further educate myself. I continue to pursue my passion by furthering my studies of the Icelandic horse whenever possible. As an active member of the United States Icelandic Horse Congress (USIHC), I greatly enjoy working for it's education committee as well as the QUARTERLY magazine.
After scribing and co-judging with many international FEIF judges, as well as attending judging seminars with Marlise Grimm and Thorgeir Gudlaugsson, I got certified as a national judge B in 2016.
