Riding Clinic with Arnar Bjarki Sigurðson

A Riding Clinic with Arnar Bjarki Sigurðson hosted by Harmony Icelandics April 18-19, 2020.

  •  Have you ever wondered about the history of the Icelandic Horse?
  • Do you want to know more about your horse’s bloodlines?
  • Would you like to learn what those bloodlines teach you about your
horse and how to use that information for positive performance?
  • Have you ever considered breeding your horse or participating in a
    Breed Assessment?

Arnar Bjarki Sigurðson will travel from Reykjavik to Truro, Iowa to teach us about the exciting
genetic history of the Icelandic Horse. Isolated for 1000 years, the Icelandic horse has a unique breeding
story. Students can participate in both lectures and riding instruction, including the opportunity to ride a
“mock” Breeding Evaluation.

Arnar is one of less than 30 International Breeding judges and the youngest to ever receive that honor by
FEIF. He is a l a graduate of Hólar University College in Iceland and a member of the Trainers
Association of Iceland (FT). Arnar breeds and trains horses in southern Iceland and is in high demand as
a clinician, judge, trainer and rider.
